Officially a blogger

Welp, this is it. I've become a blogger.
It's a momentous occasion. I had a blog once before, back when I was a young lad in high school. All the cool kids had myspace blogs back then so I did too. I wrote really depressing poetry which I wouldn't care to ever read again. Angst is gross. This is a real Circle of Life™ moment though because I'm almost 30 and blogging again. I'm thinking the work I do here will be a lot more meaningful and worth looking back on at some future time. I'm on a quest to learn and I'll be posting on the various lessons I take away from classes. I'm doing this as a requirement for my web design class but I've made it my goal to keep my posts interesting. It's a personal rule of mine not to write anything that isn't worth reading. Your time is important to you so I'll honor it as well. Good luck to all of my fellow classmates and thanks for reading my first post. I appreciate it.

  1. Hey Allen, it's pretty funny that you mentioned you have written depressing poetry in high school because I did it too. the only difference is that I didn't use Myspace or any other social media. I only used my notebooks. (I'm ten years older than you), as you could guess, ten years before than that, the social media networks were not very popular. I am agreed with you in trying to do your posts interesting as possible and making a rule of that, because that gives you substantial experience when interpreting any thought. Good luck in your blogger initiation.

  2. Hi Allen,
I can tell you are a good blogger. I would be very appreciated if you put your very same poetry that you mentioned in this blog. You are close to 30, but I am close to 40 and this is my first time ever writing a blog. I use to read lots of stories, but never read any blogs. My be I did but I never knew if I did or not. By reading your blog I can tell one thing that your blogs/writings will be fun to read. looking forward to read your poetry.

    Martin Gulab.
